Athletes Facing Lost Dive Equipment for AIDA Team World Freediving Championships

It seems that some athletes arriving in Sardinia for the 2014 AIDA Team World Championships are reporting that some luggage is being lost by the airlines.  We’ve heard reports that so far that the Danish, Finnish and US Teams have been hit with lost or delayed luggage.

The Freediving Championships are not due to start till the 16th September so there is still time for the airlines to return the athletes luggage.  Reports have also come in that WaterWay fins (who will be onsite at the World Championships) will be offering Glide Fins for those athletes affected by lost luggage.

Hopefully all equipment will be returned and keep tuned to DeeperBlue.com for more coverage throughout the event.
