Bad Weather Changes Freediving Schedule at World Championships

Rough seas and big swell have the freediving organizers in Sardinia scrambling to reschedule constant weight dives. Due to some unexpected bad weather the schedule for the 2014 AIDA Team World Championships has been changed to the following:

  • THURSDAY Sept 18th will now be a DAY OFF
  • FRIDAY Sept 19th will now be an official TRAINING DAY for STATIC
  • SATURDAY Sept 20th will now be the official COMPETITION DAY for STATIC

Athletes continue to arrive from around the world, and the opening ceremonies are still set for Weds Sept 17th.
