Oct.27.04, Puerta La Cruz, Venezuela – At 11:25am Carlos Coste descended to 135 meters by sled and returned under his own power in 4:36. The dive was clean at the surface and the athlete gave the OK signal within 20 seconds of surfacing.

Video documentation on the sled, bottom plate and surface are all in order. A second official surface camera was also used but did not capture the inital descent due to camera malfunction.

The doping test was taken at 14:10pm and the attending judges have indicated that they will be recommending the attempt for final ratification.
