DEMA launching new in-water game "DiveCaching"

Everyone loves a great treasure hunt, and the Diving Equipment Marketing Association (DEMA) will be officially launching their new real life, in-water game called DiveCaching on Tuesday 17th May 2011. DiveCaching, an underwater variation of “Geocaching,” is all about adventure and fun. It’s an underwater game for certified divers or snorkelers that can be organized by your local retailer or by a group of divers and is ideal for staying involved in both local and diving and for dive travel.

The basic idea behind DiveCaching is to locate containers called “caches,” which have been hidden underwater by divers using a GPS enabled device and a compass. You can find out more info on their website or log onto Facebook and Twitter for the official launch of DiveCaching.
