Georgina Miller wins new National Record for the UK

AIDA Media and Public Relations Officer Carla Hanson has just reported on the AIDA International Facebook page that Georgina Miller has just beaten her own National Record for the UK in the Static Apnea discipline.

Georgina’s new record stands at 6 minutes and 20 seconds. Georgina Miller started freediving only five years ago and trains with the London Freediving Group.  She very quickly proved her ability through the achievement of National Records and being listed in the World’s Top 8 in Static Apnea.  She surpassed the 50 metre barrier in the Constant Weight discipline in 2009 and has represented the UK along with Sara Campbell in the Vertical Blue freediving contest in 2009.

Details of the record and Georgina’s new outstanding achievement for her country are to follow.
