Renens, August 27 2005 – After a disappointing heat in which she failed to qualify for the finals, Tanya Streeter of Team USA has set a National Record ( pending review and ratification) for Dynamic Apnea without Fins : 113 meters. Ms. Streeter’s 81m performance in the qualifying heat was not sufficient to place her among the final Eight, but her record-setting exhibition dive would have been sufficient to secure a second-place finish.
