AfriOceans Conservation Alliance, a non-profit organisation focused on Shark and Marine Conservation in Africa, has launched a new campaign called “Rethink the Shark” with a new viral video doing the rounds called “Rethink the Shark: Meet Wilson”.
The campaign looks to challenge people’s thinking on sharks by raising the fact that every shark attack raises international media attention despite being statistically very low probability unlikely.
