Stephane Mifsud New Static World Record

Stephane Mifsud did a clean 11min 35sec Static World Record this afternoon in his hometown swimming pool of Hyeres, France. The previous AIDA world record was held by Tom Siestas in 2008 with 10min 12sec. Congratulations to Stephane and his team! Record is pending ratification from AIDA international.

As Stephane mentions this event is not “only a record”  but rather to draw media attention on the need to better preserve our planet and our oceans. Stephane supports the Hulot Foundation, from famous French explorer/environmentalist Nicolas Hulot.
