“Freedivehawaii – http://www.freedivehawaii.com have reported the US team selections:

“”The U.S. Freediving Team has been selected. AIDA USA held the final part of their trials (Constant Ballast) on Saturday August 4th in Kona Hawaii. The dives were done off of Kaiwi Point on the glass bottom boat The Coral See. The divers met at the dock at 12:00pm and left soon after. However, due to the currents the divers were not able to begin their dives until after 3:30pm. All of the divers hit their announced depths except for Tanya Streeter who bumped into a safety diver and had to abort her dive. An interesting note is that there were only as many divers trying out for the team as there were slots open. Many of the divers, who participated in the earlier trials, either opted out, or were not invited to participate. The U.S. team is as follows:

Men

Deron Verbeck
Scott Campbell
Elliot Light

Women

Tanya Streeter
Annabel Briseno
Jessica Wilson”"”
