Long Island, Bahamas - William Trubridge bested his newly minted 84m AIDA world record today with a dive to 86m in constant weight without fins in 3 minutes and 20 seconds.

William appeared especially happy after the dive that he was able to push the depth record down closer to his best results in training.

With one more day left in the Vertical Blue competition, William Trubridge will likely attempt to add some depth to his new free immersion world record.
