Thousands of entries for the 4thAnnual Underwater Australasia Photo Competition over the last year have beenreceived and the winners of the 12 monthly competitions were in the finals tocompete for very exciting prizes, including a week dive trip for two at LotusHotels & Resorts with the choice of Villa Almarik, Gili Trawangan, Lombokor Bali, a custom made dry suit from APOLLO, a TAKA liveaboard trip from Cairnsand a dive trip for TWO to the Tutukaka coast, New Zealand with Poor KnightsDivers in New Zealand.

 

The 1st prize wentto Matt Tworkowski with a shot of a stingless jellyfish. He won a week’s diveholiday for two people with a choice of two outstanding resorts in either Bali or Lombok, Indonesia courtesy of Lotus Hotelsand Resorts.

The 2nd prize was a custommade APOLLO NeoDiver Dry Suit was won by PeterHitchins with the ultimate shot of Grey Nurse Sharks in Fish Rock Cave.

3rd prize – Dive Tutukakacoast, New Zealand with Poor Knights Divers, including five daysaccommodation and diving, including tanks and weights for 2 people. The winnerwas Linda Johnston with a photo of a mirrored juvenile Orbicular Batfish atRaja Ampat, Indonesia.
