13 Countries Registered For First CMAS Depth Freediving World Championships

The first CMAS organized depth competition organized in recent history – The Apnea Outdoor World Championshipshas confirmed that 13 countries are currently registered to participate with 52 male and female athletes registered.

The championships will take place from the 4th to the 11th of October, on the Italian Island of Ischia.  The Italian member organization FIPSAS has been chosen as the organizer of the event.

Registered nations are:

  • Algeria – 1 Athlete
  • Austria – 2 Athletes
  • South Korea – 4 Athletes
  • Croatia – 4 Athletes
  • Ecuador – 4 Athletes
  • France – 7 Athletes
  • Italy – 14 Athletes
  • Morocco – 1 Athlete
  • Mexico – 1 Athlete
  • Czech Republic – 2 Athletes
  • Switzerland – 2 Athletes
  • Turkey – 5 Athletes
  • Venezuela – 5 Athletes
