Having your liveaboard trip interrupted by a tropical storm is one of a scuba diver’s worst nightmares.
That’s why Aggressor Adventures announced its StormCheck program. The new facility is aimed at assuring divers whose trip is interrupted due to a tropical storm.
The program offers divers a credit voucher for the number of days their trip was interrupted due to a named meteorological event. If their entire trip is called off, they will receive a voucher for the entire charter amount.
Guests receiving a StormCheck voucher have one year to return to the destination and use their voucher.
Bear in mind the program doesn’t negate the need to purchase comprehensive travel insurance.
Aggressor Adventures Chairman & CEO Wayne Brown said of the StormCheck program:
“We create adventures of a lifetime for our guests, but we can’t control the weather. This is why we crafted our StormCheck program. It will compensate guests who lose days of diving on an Aggressor Liveaboard vacation as the result of a named tropical meteorological disturbance that is recognized by NOAA.”
