AIDA’s 2022 Depth World Championship Competition Begins This Week

-

AIDA’s 29th Depth World Championship begins this week in Roatan, Honduras.

AIDA’s event comes fresh off the heels of the Vertical Blue freediving competition that concluded last week at Dean’s Blue Hole in the Bahamas.

The world championship dates, announced this past May, caused controversy within the freediving community for being scheduled so close to Vertical Blue.

The competition will be streamed live on AIDA’s YouTube channel beginning August 17th, and the complete schedule, start lists and results can be found on the official AIDA Depth World Championships Roatan 2022 website.
