After eight days of competition, the 2022 AIDA Depth World Championship came to a close this past week with one new world record as well as a bunch of continental and national records.

Additionally, seven new continental records were set by the USA’s Enchante Gallardo, South Africa’s Natalie Rudman, Tunisia’s Walid Boudhiaf and Colombia’s Alex Llinas, along with another 20 new national records.

Germany’s Jennifer Wendland and France’s Abdelatif Alouach accrued the most combined points over the four disciplines (Constant Weight, Constant Weight Bifins, Free Immersion and Constant Weight No Fins) to earn the women’s and men’s Natalia Molchanova Award for the overall winners.
