Vancouver, BC 19:36 EDT – Stephan Whelan reports that Jen Housley(Ind) elected not to execute her CW dive due to ear barotrauma. Dolphine Yuma Higuchi (Ind) who subscribed 42m, brought up her tag but her gauge read only 28m, apparently the result of a malfunction in the tab placement process. A last-minute addition to the competitor roster, one Deepest Bear (GBR) completed a successful 25m dive. Speaking to reporters afterward, the Bear commented that since his celebrated 110m dive, he hasn’t felt quite as buoyant as he had previously.
