Apnea Academy Concludes Spanish-Language Instructor Course

-

Apnea Academy recently finished up its Spanish-language freediving instructor course in Spain.

The course took place in Tenerife from October 5 through 11, and had 24 students — 22 men and two women from Spain, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Ecuador.

Students “went through the well-known AA learning program for instructors encompassing safety, breathing, relaxation, equalization, mental & physical training and, last but not the least, the teaching methodologies.”

Freediving legend and Apnea Academy founder Umberto Pelizzari was one of the 10 instructors who taught during the course.
