Apneists' Challenge 2009 – New Zealand

The Annual Apneist’s Challenge held every year in Wellington, New Zealand, has just completed with some amazing results.

According to the Lazy Seals Freediving Club website, no blackouts occurred and some great swims were recorded. Phil Clayton set a National Record in the DNF category with a distance of 138 metres. Guy Brew also set a National Record in the Static Apnea discipline, with a timing of 8’47”.
