Applications are now open for the ultimate and most coveted diving card of all, the Platinum Pro 5000 card. The card is all about diving and contribution to the diving industry, with leading holders including non-other than Jacques Cousteau.
To be eligible to apply for your Platinum Pro card you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Have completed 5,000 dives
- Have completed 2,500 dives and made a significant contribution to the diving industry.
Being eligible is not the end of the story. Your application must be supported by a written endorsement of two current Platinum Pros. A committee will then review your application to ensure you qualify.
Prospective applicants need to get their application in by September 1st, 2018, so that they are eligible for the DEMA 2018 Induction Ceremony.
