London – The world famous and much beloved British Broadcasting Corporation ( BBC) has made a play to close the heretofore widening gap between its coverage of the underwater world and that of industry leader Deeper Blue.
The Beeb has deployed a true Top Gun in the aquatics journalism field, the immensely talented Lakshmi Sandhana, who contributed this article. The BBC’s January 31, 2006 reportage of Israeli inventor Alon Bodner’s revolutionary tankless underwater breathing device followed Deeper Blue’s breaking news of this development by a little more than three months, a stunning comeback from past performance.
Deeper Blue publisher Stephan Whelan could not be reached for comment on this new, unexpected competitor.
