Blue Water World Cup 2022 Dates Announced

This year’s edition of the Blue Water World Cup spearfishing tournament will take place July 10th-14th, 2022, organizers announced this week.

A Full Moon is scheduled to occur on July 13th, which should make things interesting.

The Early Bird Registration fee will be US$1750/~€1557 per diver if you send your money in by February 28th. After that, the fee goes up to $1900/~€1690 per diver.

Included in that is:

  • Tournament entry fee
  • All accommodations
  • All meals
  • Three tournament dive days
  • Boats, captains, guides
  • Official tournament shirt
  • Tons of giveaways from a record number of sponsors

According to organizer Palapas Ventana:

“Armed with a new boat in our fleet, Orca, we are primed and ready to go to put our divers onto the best spots this summer for record-setting fish.”
