Bonaire Launches 'Bucket List' Social Media Contest

Is diving in the Caribbean on your bucket list? Well, Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) is holding a social media sweepstakes where the winner and a friend get a free, seven-day trip to the island.

TCB has partnered with Delta Airlines and recently launched a “Bonaire Bucket List” social media contest.

TCB Director Maurice Adriaens says:

“The objective of this contest is to build further awareness of Bonaire’s dive/snorkel and culinary product that we have to offer our visitors, while supporting Delta’s airlift to Bonaire at the same time. We’re encouraging people to share a photo of what is on their Bonaire bucket list, and that they need to experience at least once in their lifetime. In return, we’ll have the opportunity to make one of our lucky contestant’s Bonaire bucket list come true.”

To enter, you’ve got from now through September 25, 2016 to upload a photo of a dive/snorkel site or a restaurant that is on your Bonaire bucket list to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the @bonairetourism tag as well as the hashtags #BonaireBucketList and #Delta.

Photos of the dive sites and restaurants can be used from your past Bonaire trips, taken from @BonaireTourism‘s social media channels or from www.tourismbonaire.com.

Of course, since this is a promotion, you’ll need to have your social media account settings set to “public,” and send your email address to @bonairetourism via direct message. You’ll also need to be at least 18 years old at the time of entry and a legal resident of the USA.

If you win, you’ll get an email on Tuesday, September 26, 2016. The winner gets two round-trip, coach-class airline tickets on Delta via non-stop Saturday or Sunday service from your nearest US gateway city, plus seven nights’ “All Inclusive” stay for two at the Plaza Beach Resort.
