Alessia Zecchini Reclaims Freediving World Record With 104m Dive

In an incredible turn of events today, Italian freediver Alessia Zecchini stunned the crowds both online and at Vertical Blue 2017 by reclaiming her World Record in Constant Weight (CWT), with a dive to 104m, only minutes after it was broken by Hanako Hirose of Japan.

This “clash of the titans” has come amongst an epic final day at Vertical Blue 2017.

The attempt was the third World Record attempt completed today.
