Hanako Hirose Grabs Women’s Freediving World Record With 103m Dive

Breaking news coming out of Vertical Blue 2017 on the final day today as Japanese Freediver Hanako Hirose has grabbed the Women’s World Record in Constant Weight (CWT) with a 103m dive.

The record that had stood for 6 years before it was broken 4 days ago by Alessia Zecchini.

UPDATE: Minutes after the amazing dive by Hanako Hirose, Alessia Zecchini of Italy reclaimed her World Record title with a dive to 104m.
