Cayman 2006: Martin hits a hattrick!

West Bay, Grand Cayman, BWI – Czech freediver Martin Stepanek of the Performance Freediving Team has set yet another World Record in today’s Sink Faze 2006 action : 108m in Constant Ballast.

Martin’s dive time was 3’55". After surfacing, Martin reported mask flooding at the bottom, and consequently, during his ascent he was unable to recover any of the large volume of air he’d pumped from his lungs into his mask on the way down. This was a very difficult dive – and the successful completion implies that he has not yet found his depth limit.
