CCR Software Update For Garmin Descent Mk1 Now Available

Garmin has issued a software update that adds closed circuit rebreather (CCR) support to the Descent Mk1 dive computer.

The new software lets you choose the CCR dive type and set up your diluents, bailout gases and setpoints. Descent Mk1 performs the calculations by using the Bühlman ZHL-16c algorithm and provides clear, easy-to-understand information throughout the dive.

Garmin showcased the Descent Mk1 — which is now available with a gray titanium bezel as well as a sapphire lens and black silicone band — at DEMA Show in Las Vegas last November.

The Garmin Descent Mk1 retails for US$999.95/~876 Euros. For more info, go to the Garmin website.
