Cuba sells rights to treasure

“Cuban leader Fidel Castro has taken a surprise move in forging a relationship with Western trasure hunters to search and recover gold from what is believed to be the worlds largest trove of Spanish treasure.

The concessions allow the companies to keep half of the earnings from any booty. US, French, South African and Russian salvage groups are currently performing exploration dives following this announcement.”
