The 2022 coral spawning prediction calendar for Curacao has been released by the Caribbean Research and Management of Biodiversity Institute (CARMABI).
The predictive calendar allows researchers to time their visit to study these crucial events and covers the area of Curacao and the south Caribbean.
Aside from researchers harvesting the coral gametes for study, witnessing a coral spawning event is a unique experience in nature. Many drivers plan their visits to Curacao to coincide with the coral spawning event, to bear witness to one of nature’s genuinely unique events.
