DAN has just released its first web-based educational seminar for the general public: Ears and Diving seminar based on presentations by Dr. Frans Cronj, president of DAN Southern Africa, and ear, nose and throat physician.
This program, designed as a primer on how the ears function, describes what divers must do to take care of their ears. It is not a program intended to make anyone an expert on ears: what it does do, however, is help divers understand their ears and what happens when they dive.
The cost to view this seminar is $25 US. Participants in this program receive a certificate from DAN.
