DAN Introduces New Regional Emergency Hotlines

-

The Divers Alert Network has announced the introduction of two new emergency hotlines.

The new lines are for divers in the Asia Pacific, the Caribbean and Latin America. While earlier this year DAN established a Spanish-speaking hotline, it has now introduced a host of other language hotlines to serve divers in other global destinations.

The current list of DAN Emergency hotlines are as follows:

  • +1-919-684-9111 English.
  • +52-557-100-0540 Spanish.
  • +55-11-3042-1157 Portuguese.
  • +1-800-088-200 within Australia.
  • +62-21-5085-8719 within Indonesia.
  • +60-15-4600-0109 within Malaysia.
  • +86-400-007-2000 within China.

Commenting on the new hotlines, DAN President and CEO Bill Ziefle stated:

“As a global safety organization, the introduction of regional hotlines in local languages is vital to helping reduce stress for callers seeking emergency assistance. Callers can expect the same level of customer service available on the English hotline.”
