Dates For The 2022 Caribbean Cup Announced

The dates for the first event of the 2022 Freediving World Series have been announced.

The ninth edition of the Caribbean Cup will take place from May 17-24, 2022. As usual, this year’s event will be hosted by the Roatan Freediving School & Training Center.

The Caribbean Cup will be the first in a series of global freediving events this year, which will take place in Honduras, the Red Sea, the Bahamas and Cyprus. The competition will take at West Bay Beach, and the diving platform is only a three-minute boat ride from the beach. Each day of the competition, competitors are free to choose to compete in the discipline of their choice.

Disciplines at the event include:

  • Constant weight without fins (CNF)
  • Free immersion (FIM)
  • Constant weight with monofin (CWT)
  • Constant Weight with Bifins (CWB)
