Debra Andollo record is NOT approved

“Debra Andollo of Cuba was announced to have set the free immersion record at 74 meters in a time of 2:32.

S?bastien Nagel, President of AIDA has confirmed on Freediver UK that Debra’s record will not be recognised due to the fact the Video Camera was not working at the bottom depth. She did not use tags or a depth gauge so her depth cannot be verified.

If her record had been approved it would’ve beaten the women’s record previously held by Tanya Streeter at 70 meters, and the men’s record of 73 meters which is held by Pierre Frolla.
