Intrigued by scuba diving and want to learn more? Or know someone who does? Do you live near these U.S. cities: Tampa, Pittsburgh, Denver, Houston or Clarksville?

If you do, you’ll be able to try out scuba gear in a portable pool set up by the Diving Equipment & Marketing Association.

The Go Dive Now Pool Tour is DEMA‘s diver acquisition and awareness program. Just between April and June of this year, the tour has made stops in Philadephia, Pennsylvania; Burlington, Wisconsin; Chattanooga, Tennessee and Toughkenamon, Pennsylvania.

“Big Wave” Dave Reidenbach, DEMA’s Pool Tour Coordinator, says:

“With every event we attend, the Go Dive Now Pool continues to prove how effective it is at piquing interest in scuba diving. Providing event attendees and potential new divers with the chance to try scuba for themselves in a non-intimidating environment reduces many barriers to entry and also provides a unique opportunity for family and friends to discover a new interest together.”

The pool will be making appearances in five more U.S. locations before the end of the year, where prospective divers 10 years old or older will have a chance to test out some of the latest scuba diving equipment and have a photo of themselves taken underwater that can act as a keepsake. The Pool will also provide wetsuits, towels, hair dryers and dressing rooms.
