Dive Pros Invited to Explore Miami's Great Diving with Special Low Priced Dive Offers

DEMA Show 2003 in Miami is the place to be this October 8-11 if you want to improve your business, check out the newest equipment and meet buyers and decision makers. However after you’ve explored the Show floor and attended the seminars and meetings make time to get wet and dive in Miami. Miami’s "Underwater Theme Park" as it is called by some, is the top wreck diving destination in the U.S. and home to one of the largest artificial-reef programs. The Greater Miami Area and its many Beaches offer 50 dive sites most of which are located in less than 130 feet of water and more than 30 ships, tanks and other structures that have been sunk over the past twenty years and seven designated natural reef dive sites.

Local retail dive operators, all of whom are members of either the Dive Miami Alliance (DMA) or Miami Alliance of Dive Operators (MADO), will be offering special dive deals to qualified DEMA Show 2003 participants. For all offers space is limited and subject to reservations and availability.

Members of the Dive Miami Alliance, Inc. (DMA) will be offering specially priced dive FAM’s to qualified dive store/club principals and DEMA Show participants. FAM’s, a dive familiarization trip, will take place October 6-12, 2003 with four one-tank dives scheduled on October 6, 7 and 12, and two one-tank dives scheduled for October 8 – 11. The cost is $25 per dive with tank and $35 per dive with equipment, plus a complimentary "Dive Miami Book" (while supplies last). The following members of the Miami Alliance of Dive Operators (MADO), www.miamidiveoperators.org, will be offering dive specials to Show participants. All dives should be booked directly with the dive operator.

Tarpoon Lagoon & Dive Center (www.tarpoondivecenter.com) will offer a special price on their dive trip to the ‘Wreck Trek’ in Miami Beach. The cost for the dive is $45, a 50% discount. To reserve a spot call 305-532-1445.

Continuing to be the largest trade event in the world for companies doing business in the scuba diving, water sports and adventure travel industries, DEMA Show 2003 will take place October 8-11, 2003 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami, Florida.

According to show management, National Trade Productions (NTP), more than 800 different companies are expected to exhibit and more than 14,000 people are expected to attend. Open to qualified industry professionals only, DEMA Show 2003 is a trade event presented by the Diving Equipment & Marketing Association (DEMA), an international organization dedicated to the promotion and growth of the recreational scuba diving and snorkeling industry.
