Dive Rite Introduces The HP50 Lighting Range

Dive Rite have introduced the new HP50 Light system. The revolutionary new system is modular and can grow with a diver’s needs and demands.

On the most basic level, the HP50 can be used as a standard hand-held torch, albeit with a  super-bright 3,500 lumens. In hand-held mode the HP50 has a burn time of one and a half hours.

For long technical dives, the LED light head can be married up to various battery packs giving divers 4.5 hours burn time on full power with the Slimline canister, or an impressive 6.5 hours on full power with the Expedition canister.

According to Dive Rite General Manager Jared Hires:

“This is our brightest and most versatile light to date.”

The compact light weighs 0.64 kg/1.4 lbs, measures 5 cm/2 inches in diameter, and 8.9 cm/3.5 inches in length. The light head can be paired with a standard metal Goodman handle or for those who prefer, a soft hand mount option.

The HP50 hand-held light retails for US$1,250/1,049 Euros. To find out more, check out Dive Rite’s site here.
