Diviac Releases Andriod, iOS Mobile App

The developers of the diviac cloud-based digital dive logbook have released a mobile app for iOS and Android.

Diviac launched its cloud-based scuba logbook in 2013, featuring direct dive computer connectivity, a marine life database with 14,000 fish and full geo-coding of all logs.

With the release of the company’s new mobile app, divers can now work fully offline and have their data automatically synchronized as soon as they are back online again.

“As divers ourselves, we know how patchy Internet access can be in many of the world’s great dive destinations, not to mention total lack thereof on most liveaboards,” diviac co-founder and CEO Joel Perrenoud said. “That’s why we made sure that our app included all the great diviac features, not just a simple logbook. With our downloadable country packs, divers can have all the local dive sites, dive centers and even local fish on their phone to get the rich logging experience they are used to. The initial feedback from divers who tested the app has been tremendously positive, which makes us very proud.”
