Diving Daisy/Willy Tee's

Designer clothing for Divers is taking a new step forward. What was led by Seven Tenths (the original dive threads as they call themselves), has been joined by others who have the same quality feel to them.

Diving Daisy (and the new Diving Willy brand) is one of those (relatively) newcomers.

I have seen them about in conjunction with Dive Girl Magazine (those nutty women divers led by Louise) and had the pleasure of receiving some of their current designs to test out.

Now i’ve always been fond of the Seven Tenths clothing and automatically judge the quality to their range, and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed. I recieved four t-shirts, two Diving Willy (the men’s range) and two Diving Daisy (the women’s range)

All the tops are of a good quality fabric and are branded with the Diving Daisy/Willy tag.

It is common to see diving clothing to make fun of various aspects of the diving community and Diving Daisy/Willy is no exception. Out of their range we tested:

Diver Inside – a play on the Intel Inside (I think we should have the Intel Jingle here, but we can’t!) logo.

Nitrox – A great way to explain to your non-diving friends why you actually use a mixed gas rather than normal air<grin>.

Neoprene Nympho – From the Women’s range this top is not for the shy type.

Scuba Chick – Again from the women’s range, this top has a great picture of a rather pink diver.

Now since i’m not a Scuba Chick, I recruited some of my female collegues to help judge the tops, and I have to say that the response was very positive. In fact, so much so I had to fight with most of the to actually get any of the tops back to review!

So, there you have it, a good new series of diving threads to keep you looking extra cool at the dive site over the summer.
