Explorer Ventures Adds One More Liveaboard For Galapagos Trips

-

Is diving the Galapagos Islands on your bucket list? Well, the folks at Explorer Ventures might have just the ticket.

The company recently announced it had secured the necessary permits from the Ecuadorian government to run additional liveaboard trips to the Galapagos.

Beginning in August 2018, those trips will be done via the fleet’s latest addition: the 35-meter/115-foot M/V Majestic Explorer. You’ll be able to take 8-day/7-night cruises to see marine iguanas, dive among Mola Molas and hammerhead sharks as well as other really cool sights.

The Majestic Explorer accommodates 16 guests in eight air-conditioned twin-bed or queen bed staterooms, each with private bathrooms and showers. You’ll dine or watch TV in the air-conditioned salon on the main deck, or work on your tan or soak in the hot tub on the top deck.

The dive deck will have individual gear bins, a camera table, recharging station, air and Nitrox filling stations, tank racks as well as a separate freshwater rinse tank for underwater camera equipment. You’ll be diving from two large “pangas,” or tenders, that are easily boarded from the dive deck.
