Fort Young Hotel and Resort in Dominica has continued its recovery from Hurricane Maria.
The resort reopened in January after extensive renovations and currently 41 of its 72 rooms are up and running. In keeping with its return to normality as one of the premier dive resorts on the island of Dominica, Fort Young has appointed a dive concierge.
The concierge will create unique individual experiences for divers, coordinating everything from equipment and dive location, to transportation to and from dive sites. According to Fort Young’s general manager Marylyn James:
“Diving is one of Dominica’s most championed attractions and we want to help visitors have the best possible experience exploring our waters. We’ve enjoyed being a base for divers from around the world and look forward to continuing to serve the diving community as an expert resource.”
Packages start at US$1,256/~€1,021 and include breakfast, marine tags, airport transfers, as well as five or seven nights’ accommodation, and three to five days of two tank diving.
