Freediving with Umberto Pellizzari – 6-11 September – Spain

This course will be held in French and Spanish only, in the Ciudad de Vacaciones, Cala Montjoi, Catalonia, Spain. The dates are 6-11 September 2005 and places are limited. For more information contact David Arroniz +34-972-25-62-12.

From the 6th to the 11th of September 2005, the free-diving World-champion Umberto Pelizzari will organise a Free-Diving stage in Spanish.

The course will take place in CALA MONTJOY (Spain), about 90 minutes North of Barcelona.

During theory lessons the following arguments will be explained: techniques of breathing (abdominal breathing, how to use the diaphragm,…), techniques of relaxation, autosuggestion techniques, special physical training for Free-divers (jogging, swimming, body building…) special training for free-divers (static free-dive, dynamic free-dive, deep free-dive) personal training programmes, black-outs, security, equalisation techniques, theory about all different disciplines.

Any daily course will last for about 10 hours (from 9 am to 7 pm), spent in the sea (constant weight), swimming pool (static and dynamic) and theory room

Screening of videos on competitions in different free-diving disciplines and the world of free diving.

Every free diver will be filmed and his diving technique will be analysed at the video.

All lessons will be kept by Umberto Pelizzari and his team

The schedule of the course is:

9.00-12.00 water

12.00-14.30 pool

15.00-19.00 Theory, videos, training in breathing techniques and relaxation techniques
