From Cocaine Smuggler to Recreational Wreck

The 174ft M/V Thozina has just become the fourth wreck at the artficial reef, Governor’s Riverwalk Reef site south of Lake Worth Inlet.

The vessel was seized by authorities earlier this year after US Customs found cocaine inside water ballast tanks. More than $32,000 was spent preparing the vesssel for the reef.

Lying in 90ft (27m) the Thozina along with 3 other scuttled wrecks will certainly make for a great dive for any wreck enthusiast, complete with wheelhouse and crows nest.
