Gianluca Genoni achieves -132m

On Sunday 29th September 2002, Italian Freediver Gianluca Genoni made a -132m variable ballast dive in 3:09.

Yesterday he was forced to put off the attempt because videocam cables had interfered with the rope and he had to stop his dive at -80m. The safety divers at -140m couldn’t wait for the rope to be fixed.
