GoPro Introduces Newest Entry-Level Camera

GoPro is making it really hard for the budget-conscious underwater videographer to keep from snapping up its latest camera.

The company this week introduced its lowest-priced camera so far, the US$129.99 HERO+.

While the HERO+ lacks an LCD, it’s still waterproof to 131 feet/40 meters and can be mounted to the company’s wide array of accessories. It also has Wi-Fi as well as Bluetooth connectivity, weighs 4.3 ounces/122 grams and can shoot 1080p60 video and 8MP photos.

The HERO+ will be available for purchase beginning October 4, 2015.
