Grand Turk 2nd Conch Carnival

“Rodales Scuba Diving has informed us of the 2nd Annual Grand Turk Conch Carnival.

Hotels and dive shops will be celebrating the Carnival with special dive packages June 10 through 17, 2001.

This year’s events will include a week of land-, water- and conch-centered activities. Festivities will include two morning dives every day. Night dives are also scheduled with various operators, ending with beach barbecues and bonfires. Daily activities include treasure hunts, water and beach relay races, beach parties and an array of local music including Turks Island-style “”rake n’scrape””. Prizes for competitions will be awarded daily at the numerous events.

An open invitation is extended to divers and non-divers looking for summer fun and adventure on Grand Turk. Hotel and dive packages are available through the following dive operators and resorts, or contact your dive travel specialist.
