Loic LeFerme to attempt Absolute No-Limits record

French FreeDiver and World Champion Loic LeFerme is going to attempt to beat the current (unofficial) World Record in No-Limits set by Pipin Ferrarras by diving to 171m at Villefranche-sur-mer, Côte d’Azur, France on 30th October 2004.

Whilst Loic holds the current No-Limits record at 162m, set on 20th October 2002, Pipin Ferrarras has held the absolute World Record to 170m since 13th October 2003. Pipin never completed the dive under an ratifying organisation as it was a memorial dive to his wife, Audrey Mestre, who died attempting a No-Limits record to 171m in 2002.

We wish Loic all the best for his dive and will bring you the news as it happens.
