Divers from around the UK and Europe are descending on East London and the ExCel Convention Center where the London International Dive Show (LIDS) is taking place. The show opened yesterday – Thursday 11th February – and runs through Sunday 14th February.
It’s not just for Scuba Divers either – Freediving is well represented there with the British Freediving Association and London based NoTanx club both in attendance as well as the usual set of Scuba Diving manufacturers and retailers. Diving travel companies are well represented as well.
The show is for the first year fully integrated into Europe’s biggest sport & leisure event – the Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show (TOATS), the London Bike Show and the Triathlon Show. The combined event with its multiple attractions for active people is expected to attract more than 60,000 visitors.
DeeperBlue.com will be in attendance on Saturday and will report back on the latest happenings from LIDS.
You can find out more at diveshows.co.uk or telegraphoutdoorshow.co.uk for non-diving attractions.
