Master Liveaboards has announced some big changes to its Pacific roster.
The change responds to the evolving business environment in a post COVID-19 world and location-specific customer demand.
In essence, starting from April 2022, the company will be transitioning two of its vessels to new locations in the Pacific Ocean. The Solomons PNG Master will head to Bikini and the Truk Master will be switching to the Solomon Islands. The switch will be finalized by October 2023, when the ships will be known as the Pacific Master and Solomons Master, respectively.
The move is designed to help the company meet the demand for Bikini Atoll trips by having two ships operating in the area.
According to Master Liveaboards COO Mark Shandur:
“Our Bikini trips are already over-subscribed and COVID-19 has left many of our customers disappointed. By adding a second vessel for two full seasons we hope that we can offer as many people as possible a second chance to dive this bucket list destination.”
