Mission Blue To Host Webinar On Photography and Ocean Conservation

Ocean advocacy organization Mission Blue is holding a webinar this week on the role of photography in ocean conservation.

“Her Deepness” Dr. Sylvia Earle and other prominent underwater photographers will share their “personal experiences with sub-surface shooting and how photography can play an important role in telling meaningful conservation stories.”

The webinar will take place on Wednesday, November 9th at 11:00am US Pacific time.

In addition to Earle, panelists will include:

* Christian Vizl, Underwater photographer and conservationist
* Joakim Odelberg, Conservation filmmaker and photojournalist, TV host and Explorers Club Fellow
* Tanya Houppermans, Underwater Photographer/Shark Naturalist and contributing photographer to the Hatteras Hope Spot
* Alex Rose, Science Editor of Ocean Geographic Magazine and Hope Spot Champion of the Bunaken Marine Park Hope Spot
* Pier Nirandara, Bestselling author, travel writer, film producer, underwater photographer
* Amos Nachoum, Wildlife Photographer and Explorer
