NAUI has announced that it is looking for a new, full-time manager for its Green Diver Initiative.

The new position will be based in Riverview, Florida, and the manager will report to GDI Board Chair Angie Cowan and NAUI Services Group Executive Director Dallas Edmiston.

The successful candidate should have a strong passion for conserving and protecting the marine environment and species.

According to Cowan:

“We look forward to working with the new manager to foster GDI’s continued success and its work to promote best practices by divers and water enthusiasts in order to preserve and conserve our shared aquatic resources.”

According to the GDI board, the new manager will be tasked to develop and put in place a plan to hit or exceed revenue targets. He or she will have the opportunity to develop the plan concept, as well as its strategy and budget. The new plan also aims to develop recruiting and retention policies for specific GDI activities.
