New Autonomous Underwater Vehicle In The Works

iBubble Concept Painting

Freediver Guillaume Nery is working with a group of developers to bring a new, autonomous underwater vehicle to market.

With a depth rating of 230 feet/70 meters, the iBubble would move alongside the diver via a connected bracelet, and choose on its own the best camera angle. A GoPro Hero System camera would be plugged directly to the iBubble.

The iBubble will have a “Smart Thinking” capability, in that once it reaches its one-hour battery life, it would automatically resurface.

The developers are offering the first 3,000 people who sign up sneak peeks, exclusive updates and offers.
